About the team
The U11s team play in the Eryri U11s Summer league. This is a very important age group for cricket development because they are transitioning from playing softball to hardball cricket for the first time. We always welcome new enthusiastic juniors and will support them to develop their cricketing skills. Our emphasis is on enjoyment of cricket.
We can borrow cricket kit for juniors to play hardball cricket. We also encourage older juniors to pass their kit on to younger juniors. Despite this age group being mostly for year 5 and year 6 juniors, we do encourage some of our more able juniors to start at a younger age than this.
Under 11s hardball cricket is supported and encouraged in a very safe and inclusive environment by experienced coaches.
League cricket
The under 11s play in the Eryri League against other clubs from Northwest Wales. The under 11s format is 8 a side of 16 overs, with all players batting in pairs for 4 overs and all players bowling for 2 overs each.
The under 11s also play in the U11s indoor softball winter league. The format is 6 a side of 12 overs, with all players batting in pairs for 4 overs each and all players bowling for 2 overs each.
