Chair's Welcome

Welcome message from Robbie Jones

This will be my fourth year as Chair, and I took over from my father who was Chair for over 20 years. It's an honour to be part of this great club which is a huge part of my life and my families.

I've played and been involved in the club for most of my life. First as a junior player, twelve years as first team captain, I've been a committee member since I was fourteen and now I'm Chair. I continue to play in the first team and  coach various junior sides.

It's been incredible to be part of this small village club and see how far it's come. In 2005 building the clubhouse was a massive step which coincided with building the senior and junior teams. We desperately needed better facilities. Looking back, I never thought we would outgrow the clubhouse, but here we are redeveloping the facilities and grounds with a significant £500k+ investment. This will safeguard the club for the future generations of the community and cricket lovers.

Menai Bridge Cricket Club is not only a stunning ground with spectacular views; it also has a vibrant atmosphere where guests and members are listened to and made welcome. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in Spring 2025.
